hello hello from north carolina
« on: January 17, 2011, 03:37:15 AM »
Hello all! I'm from Wilmington, NC. I am a flashlight enthusiast. Have been since I was a young child. I've always collected flashlights for some reason. I'm also a poor college, so as the flashlight LED technology has become where it's at, I've had to slowly convert over. I am the proud owner of 4 3D cell LED converted Maglites(not super tactical cool but they work quite well), I have a Streamlight Stylus Pro and MicroStylus as my two EDC lights, I have a Streamlight headlamp(model escapes me) and that's just for starters. I did just order a new little Fenix E01 today on the EDC forum for pretty good deal. I'm looking forward to have that, my little Streamlight's are starting to show quite a bit of wear so I can use the Fenix as my new main task light.

thanx
matt

Great to hear -

this winter, the C3 is getting a rest (I need new rechargeable cells) - so this year my main to carry lights have been a Pentagon L2 and a D-Mini.

As far as small backup lights, I am using my Nokia N97 has a dual LED flash and works great with a free flashlight app.  I use it for a flashlight more often than not as I always have it with me.

Getting itchy to sell some stuff this year - we will see!
