Round HID Ballast 30 - 60 Watts
« on: May 31, 2009, 03:34:23 PM »

This is a pic of the 32 - 43 Watt Version with POT (10 to 18 Volts)   (This ballast from Mule and Maximus builders)

Weight is only 6.6 ounces for ballast and bulb!

I have requested the version that is switchable with resistors instead of POT and is running at 30 - 60 Watts and switchable with press of a button...

Pics for size comparison to Mags...   The Blue Tube is a sample of a host for this ballast...

The Yellow Light is a new light like the Black one which is an old Coleman adjustable Halogen light... There virtually Identical

Single man living in Man-Cave can get away with that. I move out 2 days ago so no more lights on counter tops  :'(

Got my own inside shop though

Oh dear, reminds me that I acquired such a light once, but then:
no spot whatsoever. The reflector was the most horrible I've ever seen.
There was a 50W ballast hooked up, and this went poof soon after
(although I don't know how they deal with lower voltage which I might
have applied due to using a too long and cheap extension cable to the cig. lighter :-)
