do your R2 LED's differ from the one being sold on dealextreme.com at all?

also, can i expect the full 290 lumens if i ran this in a Surefire 6P?

thanks, and i look forward to doing business with you

Thank you for your question. We haven't tried the DX drop in's so I'm not able to comment.

You would be able to reach the 290 Lumen rating in a 6P with two rechargeable batteries  Smile

ok.  im guess the dealextreme one is of lower quality, since its half the price.

would the lumen rating suffer from using Surefire's CR123 batteries?

I just received mine today. Very bright, nice color. I will spend some time with my light meter to compare
them  with some other bulbs.
