Strom,

I really like the looks of the turks head, but man, how do you keep track of all the turns, weaves, loops, over-under-around- and throughs  :confused2: ???

I tie a single knife lanyard knot and at times it comes out goofy looking.... you throw in a double , and I loose my mind  ;)

Storm, ya got talent man.  :headbang: :notworthy: :headbang: Please, keep posting your awesome work.

Bill

The Turk's head knots do take some patience, it's like playing around with a puzzle.  I put up a video tutorial for the 16 lead 3 bight for those that want to give it a go.  :D

Here's a 'Two-Bight Turk's-Head Paracord Lanyard' video tutorial I made, and a pic of the finished version.

I have done a few basic lanyards, snake knots and square weaves mostly. Did you find a book or a web site that explains how to do the different style knots?

I've used a combination of books and online resources in learning knots.  After you learn to tie various knots, it gets easier in figuring ways to combine them to make different things.   :)

I'll have to look around again. I bought a few books last yeat, mostly naval knots. I like to do the work with paracord when I have time, it is clean and fun to do....

Well, it's not a lanyard, but I made it for my River Rock 3AA LED lantern, and it just happens to work as a can koozie too... :D

Wow Storm, how cool is that.  8)

I just picked up one of those lanterns at Target - marked down to $12.98, at that price I'm going back for another one.

As always, EXCELLENT WORK  :headbang:
