I'm still working out the specs for the remote controll and horizontal vs vertical motor speeds. Below is the remote. Trying to figure a way to get that 110 degree sweep action in there somewhere!

UPDATE:

I'm going to cut-off orders to those that have already shown interest...

Sweep Motion is out for now until a later date and future orders. Too complex for now and we would never get lights for a long time...

On the multi-speed versions. We are moving towards a solution that involves sending multiple motors for each light (depending on price TBD and hopefully at said price) to get the speed right, horizontal & vertical... With input from the group buy guys I'll set the motor speed for the future lights... Each light contains two separate motors and hopefully we will have a choice from 6 different motors for search speeds...

More later...

Thanks ShortArc ;)

You guys are the R & D Staff!

More Updates:

- Reflector is Smooth in Aluminum Alloy

- Lens is Glass

- Magnet (said to be strong) is built into base. Hopefully this will negate the need for the above base-plate and extra magnet I noted from http://www.magnalight.com reducing the overall cost...

- 2 motors ( the medium speed ones ) installed in light, with 4 other motors (2 x vertical and 2 x horizontal) for altering the speeds. High - Low setting through Remote for each Motor...

- Sweeping Motion Capability is being researched with a mold change to the body of the light... Minimum quantity order would move this along...

- Lithium Ion weather proof battery pack is being R & D with photos to come for this light...

- Waiting on shipping quote to finalize order and payment. This is a R & D project @ cost so keep this in mind...

What is the cost difference between A & B?
Can light B be hooked up to a 12-13.5V battery/alternator while being used?
Weight is 22kg...holy....I think I may have to stick to A. Still thinking...
Has Ra made any comments with regards to the ballast?
This is way cool!

B will be more expensive (see next post)

Yes

22kg was a Typo - The actual weight is around 10kg or 22 Pounds
The Model A is lighter for sure...

Ra has fired up the 80w ballast with some older Rayzorbeam parts. He's going to put the ballast into a Thor matched to a DL-50 Fat-Boy bulb. Should be a nice little project to watch!

Cool as Hell   :D   !!!

Model B is going to be a 100 Watt HID Light Canon!

100 Watt HID

It will be a little more expensive as the ballast will be bigger and the Lithium Battery will be as large (mah) as will comfortably fit in the base of the light... BIG ASS Battery!

Model B to be designed with removable cord to power and recharge the light. The light should be able to run off the battery or plug into vehicle for power...

Model B has 360 turn radius vs Model A 440 turn radius

Working out the details...

Oh and the Head Engineer said he likes The Way We Roll at FF!        :headbang:
