That's my baby.

So... ?

One C-body failed attempt, a few months back...But I'm willing to give it another shot.

I see AW's C batteries are sold out, and Litemania has gone AWOL...Warren's charger set-up looked nice, and at a reasonable price too...

What switch housing is compatable with a 1.250" plus, cell body?

Well... one way to go is to integrate a McClickie into the tail:

In spite of looking like an Aleph-3 the 37 above is actually a "Bulk-compatible" head.

TnC has hit a home run with the C-Flex.

It's great to be able to pick up a light and be absolutely certain that it will run, and run for a very long time.  The Lithium promise of a 10-year shelf life is a major selling point for many.  However with rechargeable cells and the erratic usage that the Flashaholic Lifestyle demands, any particular light that comes to hand has a fairly high probability of being dead within minutes.  Not so with over 3AH of capacity on tap!  These single-cell lights also give you that nice palm-filling, warm-and-fuzzy feeling of flashlight days gone by.  When men were men and flashlights were flashlights!  Before SureFire decided that a wimpy camera battery was the thinking man's way to power a flashlight.

Did I hear someone say Titanium??  :)

Cheers,

Can't go wrong with TnC stuff

I personally feel better about switch housings, that don't defeat a lock-out feature...I had one scary incident, when a light turned itself on, while stored in my motorcycle tank bag...Any aluminum light, driven at 500mA or higher, will get scary hot if there's no air circulation, or a hand, to sink the waste heat.  That big C-cell has quite a bit of stored energy.

I suppose you could rig it to work with a hacked SF switch assembly, or even a twistie.

TnC makes twisties for the C-Flex system for 'hotwire' applications.

Well...I think E-series is the way to go...I'm thinking a switch housing to match the O.D. of the cell tube, would be a clean execution.  Guess I'll have to go rummage for my C-cells :D
