Sign-Up for the Orb Classic (re-issue)
« on: September 16, 2007, 06:37:53 AM »
Rob, can we talk?

Please, please, please bring back the original full-size Orb flashlight!

I'd like one in Titanium so 'dad will finally shut up about having the only one in the Western Hemisphere.

And an Aluminum one (or two) for general use.

Let's do a proper switch on it this time.

Anyone else on board?

Cheers,
///rā'gən·täg

If I am not mistaken the aluminum Orb is going to happen in a limited run of 100 only  while the Ti version is not in a save harbour yet  :'( .

Yes, I remember putting my vote in for one on another forum some time ago... but I've long lost track of the thread.  I can't even find the forum!  >:(

So... If it's a reality - great!!

Let's get it organized.  "Right here, right now" sounds like a good plan to me.

What about it, Orb?  : :-[

Cheers!

:evil6: :woot:  Oh, and you and I (I think at least one of your aliases, anyway) are still on the original thread requesting such.  I can probably find it and link it over.  Here's one of them:

And here's another reminder just for you, Reg.  :laughing7:

 regen̈̈tag you may be pleased to here the Alu Orb will return for a final 100 of.
I still have to finalize all the detail but hope to have all together in approx 10 weeks.
The Lanyard switch will most likely remain for the final 100.
If I do get around to the Orb Ti, I'd imagine it will be way cooler than the one Dad has :P

Can I get on the Orb list?
I said I liked it.  I didn't say I wanted to kiss it.

I never could understand why a man would like one of those...
Unless he was a Lefty that is. :rotflmao:

I wonder why the Chinese havent come up with something like that... a Multitask™ Pleasure stick with light to see where its going.
And maybe add a ViratoLED™ function aswell? :D

Just kidding ofcource :D
I want one myself...  :-[

hey you wouldn't believe whats out there...I've seen some real funky stuff in Akihabara (electric town in Tokyo...all manners of electronics, geek/collector/techie/otaku central) led's on Everything! :evil6: :naughty:

That darn pen draig snagged it eh...good :icon_biggrin:
and the reason why I passed on it was that I jumped into the Bulk Crowd™ head first and now have all manners of kitties and critters scattered around the house and a whole lot more coming :cheesy:
not to mention one of the sweet new Raw Ti's with the new smoother threading and Cree XR-E on its way to me Thanks Rob!
