Thanks for posting the instructions pdf Rudi  I didn´t have those before and was too lazy to search the forum for it. So it just happened I got to play with the menu the first time ever.

The lockout mode is not a one time only with my light, it is permanent. I have to click three times to turn the light on, everytime. Don´t ask me how, but somehow I managed to turn my chameleon into a lioncub  :-[ I now have the same brightness controle as with my lioncub, not only the five brightness levels I had before. How come? Are there different chameleon software versions available? I really like it that way and going to keep it - just not the lockout mode. Is there anyway I can loose my permanent lockout mode?

Thanks for any helpfull comments regarding the lockout
Eric

Sorry that I can't help with your permanent lockout Eric. On my Cham it's a one-time-only lockup. Maybe the Galactic Commander can chip in with a clarification.

It appears someone swapped a non-regulated Cub or Heart board in there.  Try using a primary battery and let us know what happens.  Ah'm all ears...

Mine's also on permanent lock-out.
I said I liked it.  I didn't say I wanted to kiss it.

Hmmm, there was no permanent lockout programmed into any of the regulated electronics.

I'm guessing that I just haven't figured out how to get out of lock-out mode, yet.

Yep, looks like a Cub/Heart board since I access the Force mode with three clicks while in the menue and the auto-lock with four clicks. I managed to disable it while running the light with a primary and everything is all right now.

Thank you and Rudi for posting both the chammie as well as the lion instructions.
