MagLite Solitaire LED Upgrade

Recent undergoing project of mine is building MagLite Solitaire LED upgrade Kits.
When finished these kits will be available in many LED colors. Since the tailcap has spare bulb storage you will have choice of 2 color bulbs.

The kit will be sold either with or without the MagLite.
Prices have not been determined yet, butthe kit shouldn't cost more than the $5.00 MagLite itself.

If your interesed in this mod kit PM me. Ill eventually get a thread opened with all the information and lots of picures

Awhile back someone made me a headlamp that was super bright, I was in the military at the time and it was done locally by a guy who has since passed away.  it had a LED and Xenon bulb like that out of a surefire.  I am not sure how he did it or anything technical.  All I know is that it was super bright and had a battery pack.  It was housed in a petzl DUO and had some sort of brass housing converter and ran off of cr123 batteries.  I lost it and am in need of something like it again.  Does anyone have a mod like this or know of someone who can do a mod like this for me?  It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi outdoorguy883 and welcome to F-F - there are plenty of people who have the skills and still more that could give you the advice.  I would start by posting a photo (if possible) of what you have.  These days, depending on output desired, most of the modern LEDs will spank the P60/P90 and give the P91 a run for the money while saving on batteries.  In fact there may be stock LED headlamps that accomplish the same thing that had to be home-made just a few years ago.

Just start a new thread in the LED thread to see what everyone can contribute!

Good luck!

Can you please PM me some idea of your rates? I have 2 projects in serious position for Prototyping but am still waiting for partnership and licencing agreements to be signed. One is flashlight related and the other is not but is a CNC Milling job.
Thanks! http://www.cheapghdsale.org/uk-ghd-sale.html
