I'll be picking up my Rayzorlite in a couple of hours :laughing4:
The only HID that I can compare to will be the Ellie.  I suspect this would be an unfair comparison.... but hey....the next best thing I got is the Surefire M6 HOLA

Perhaps its a good thing the timing of shipping worked out that I got the Ellie first!

Man...gonna have some fun this week!!!!!  Whoooooo hoooooo!!!!!!!

Take some pics!  That reflector on Ellie should rock though!

The Elephant is an amazing animal of a light.  EricMack loves his elephant as well.   :laughing7:

The Ellie is now my favorite light.  The beam is just so perfect!  What a throw monster!  What a runtime monster!
A relatively compact and a beautifully finished, highly refined light.

Mac has outdone himself.  I want to get more!  Maybe a white elephant next!!!  Or a black one.....hell, doesn't matter what color.... I just want more of them!!!!

I own both.

Ellie all the way.  Torch blows away anything when it comes to pure, powerful output, no doubt.  But with a 10 minute runtime, its really just a novelty light isnt it?  BUT Eliie on the other hand will run for a solid 90 minutes, out throwing the Torch like there is nothing to it.

Both are heck of nice lights, but in this case, there is no contest. Ellie wins.

Well, I don't usually use my lights for long stretches like that, so what about short bursts?  Will The Torch out-blast Ellie in one-two minute runs?

Please forgive my apparent ignorance here, I'm not as frequent a visitor as I should be.  "Mac"???   I've got a USL "on order" but, runtime will be restricted for heat dissapation and power requirements.  It would appear that the Elephant might fit my needs of a longer runtime combined with some most impressive performance.  "Mac"??

Mac is cmacclei (not 100% sure I spelled that right), the maker of The Torch (and also the Elephant, i think).  Anyway, there is a great thread on The Torch over on CPF.
