Renaming of Hotwires to HotWire Mods
« on: July 29, 2005, 02:16:48 AM »
Just Like LED Mods (where we will be discussing mods about LED)

we should rename "Hotwires" to HotWire Mods (in tandem with the LED Mods)

At first i was confused to see "HotWires" ... after reading the desc. then only i came to know that it would be a forum for discussing HotWire Mods :)

So my request to you is to please rename that forum to HotWire Mods instead of "HotWires"

I think we will leave this to the eventual HotWire Mods (we may have a noted "guest mod" or two who would likely tell us the term hotwire means it was Already modded).  Also, although I am not the expert here, I think our good ol' WebMaster DarkGear has to go through some cyber-gymnastics to get into the changing-things-around mode, and thus we intend to leave them as they are for a few months unless or until any glaringly obvious problems crop up.

Let's give things a try as they are.  90% of al improvements come from simply getting used to them.  :) :D ;)

Hi Viren,

I'm sorta partial to leaving it with the original name for now since the vast majority of what we discuss here are custom or modded items. So it's almost "assumed" under the particular light engine technology. Having said that, let's see how it develops over the nest few months and we'll adjust if need be. I'm always open to suggestions

I'm pretty much OK with the current name, for what it's worth.  Sounds kinda exciting, like we're all gonna go out and steal a car.  :rotflmao:
