Sorry, nemul--as much as I hated to do it, I did a little edit on yours--just a tad bit more risque than Troy's pic (though I may be biased towards Eva  :love4: )

Good edit Zenny.  Nemul, this is really "gray area" content for us as we are still young and innocent, so it was better to err on the side of caution if you know what I mean.  Besides, the hover trick takes nothing away - just that you need to free up at least one hand to see it...:naughty:

This is why I love my ultrawideangle lens - it is equivalent in terms of focal length to Canon's awesome 16-35mm lens (on full frame). And I don't have to pay full frame price to get it. In the first shot, less than 3 feet separates me from a stream of vehicles blasting thru' at 60.

These were shot as RAW, had Picture Styles (Landscape) applied in Canon DPP 2.03 to match what I saw with my eye more accurately, then converted to JPEG. Little bit of postprocessing (the conversion).

350D, 10-22mm lens at 15mm, 1/30 sec, f/4.0, ISO 200

Lightstream,
Did you use a star filter in that nightshot?
Amazing "feel" of distance from the streaming lights.. certainly does not seem like 3ft!

Darkgear,
What light is reflecting in your 3rd shot? Looks like lightning..but then there seems to be Venus on the right..

Luxman: No, I don't have any star filters. Just the standard UV filter. I find that when heavily stopped down (f/11, f/14) the 10-22 produces wonderful star effects by itself. I have gotten those effects in extremely bright sunlight, and when I deliberately use it for long exposure work at night.

The 10-22 has the new circular aperture technology - actually all 4 of my zooms do because I bought the very new ones - so if you don't stop it down that much, or if you shoot wide open, you will get nice round highlights that are really perfect round circles.

I HIGHLY recommend the 10-22 to EF-S shooters who love a good landscape. I just used it today, indoors of all places, and it made framing a group shot a piece of cake. Normally, you always have to tell folks in a group shot to pack it in closer, I just zoomed out and clicked off the timer. Makes a great indoor lens as well. Just make sure you don't get your feet in the frame by accident; yes it is that wide. 110 degree FOV.

Aten: no offence but I would prefer not to say were the shots were taken. I will gladly provide EXIF though. :)

(for those who THINK they can identify where - don't bother telling me, I don't want to hear it.)
