Lumencraft / Re: GatLight V2 UPGRADE Thread

Interesting.  I'm glad my V2 will not be obsolete.

Do you prefer that we specify interest in option#1 or #2.  I'm not totally sure at this point which I would want, but definitely one or the other.

Anyway I am back after being away on a family trip the past ten days.  Will settle back in and then show some pics of Rich's Dragon protos that were sent.

Hey, finally.  I was beginning to think you should rename this light The Draggin instead.  :D  Just kidding, man, don't cut me off.

BTW, and OT, but I just found out that SHOT show in 2008 coincides with the Super Bowl (and also has unusual days of Saturday-Tuesday) so you know that Vegas will be an extra large mess and probably fuller flights to and from.

We were talking about this thing at the last HAT gathering.  I've resisted (thus far), but every time I go to the countycomm website to check on new items, I always take a look at it again.  I just KNOW I would never use it, but that hasn't stopped me before with anything else I bought, so why start now?  I guess it's the price.  I'm not averse to spending money necessarily, but for the guys who bought this, is it worth the price of admission?  Would you spend $75 on this again?  Or for some of you, would you buy a third now that you have two? :D  I almost want to get it just so there's something else for show and tell at the next HAT (beyond all the knives and lights and watches, etc.)

Hmmm...I thought there would be a little more interest in this one.

I'll give it a few more days and if there are no bites I'll just keep it.  Twist my arm! :)

Thanks, Eric.  And thanks to the other guys who purchased from me recently.  I get a little tentative when selling because I want to make sure I am representing items accurately and to make sure I ship quickly (who wants to wait for their toys?).  But since I had good people who purchased, it all went smooooothly.

Yeah, you're right.  I was thinking the same thing last week when checking how my sale was going.  Generally speaking, I don't see why there should be more than 2 or 3 sticky threads in any category.  Bulkman is the culprit on some of these since he's making some "normal" sales into stickies.  I'd tell him but then I'd get the dreaded "CUT OFF!" :P

Hopefully a couple of these will go away.  I think the 12PZM is sold so that can go.  Charlie?  What say you?

Lights Buy/Sell/Trade / FS: Stainless Steel GatLight V2
« on: November 02, 2006, 08:57:16 PM »
For sale is a stainless steel, Version 2 GatLight.  It has been turned on and off a few times but no hard use.  I have no pictures but if you're buying this you already know what it looks like.  Comes with nylon sheath, rechargable 123 battery, tools, and instruction sheet--just like how I got it.  Asking $300 plus shipping (priority mail with delivery confirmation).  Insurance is optional.  Purchase goes to the first person to post an unqualified "I'll take it" in the thread.  I accept money orders, cashiers checks, and cash PayPal.  U.S. buyers only, please.  I will try to answer any PMs and emails as quickly as possible.  Thanks.

« on: October 29, 2006, 10:04:53 AM »
For sale are a brass lionhead and brass 168 tube made by Otokoyama for use with the Lioncub.  Both pieces have a bit of tarnish on them and the lionhead has a few spots on it.  I assume you can polish these out if so desired.  I'm not sure I'll be able to get pics up so if these cosmetic issues are a problem for you then you should look elsewhere.  Aside from the tarnish, neither of these pieces has seen much use, instead sitting on my shelf most of the time.

Asking $50 plus shipping for either or $90 plus shipping for both.  Purchase goes to whomever unconditionally says "I'll take it" in the thread.  I will try to answer PM's and emails on a timely basis.  I will accept money orders, bank cashiers checks, or cash PayPal only.  U.S. shipping only.

Mr. Bulk and zackhugh not coming??  Wha?  You've gotta be kiddin'!  You fellas have to come.  It's your party, man.  Jurphaas and I can't repeat last year's shenanigans without ya!  And we'll have PSM and EricMack to initiate.  Come on, fellas!

There might even be a woman walking around who was in "Rush Hour 2."  ;) :D

Ditto - probably too far for me and i don't think I will make it.  But on the bright side, I recall quite a few people on CPF in the past saying that if the SS ever moved over to the East coast then it was too far them as well.  Meaning FF's contingent will comprise THE Flashaholic Group out there.

Have fun, and we Do expect timely reports - in fact let's see if you guys can beat that Mag LED flashlight scoop that Troy and Steve and me pulled off, complete with full-color brochure pics that very day!

Hey, I thought you were going!  Of course, you said that a long time ago.  That's a bit of a trek for me too and I don't think I'll have enough vacation time built up by then.  Oh well, it's the East Coast guys' turn for SS anyway.  And lousy guys like AWTYD who can go either west or east. >:(

After having spent all day and night with no power I have to say that I'll make sure to prepare better for a possible next time.  I didn't really have anything to eat all day except some snacks(potato chips, cookies, etc) I'll definitely stock up on some food that doesn't need to be cooked!

For shame!  It's utter blasphemy to admit to not having a can of spam in your cupboard in Hawaii.  I heated up some soup but the spam was there if necessary.

Cuz he married Bridget Wilson and his will to play tennis went away.  Had better stuff to do.

Agassi's married to Graf, which probably feeds his tennis fire (can you imagine being a tennis superstar and still not measuring up to your wife's accomplishments?).  They also mated and created a tennis uberchild.  Is there any way this kid could suck at tennis?
