LED Mods / Re: 18500 body for KL4 head and L1 tailcap?

Thanks Chronos. I noticed the Acme threads but have no idea how much of a challenge that would be for the typical fabricator. This particular application seems compelling so I might try pursuing this with a willing machinst or shop.

The KL1 head that's presently on my L4 body is kicking bright on a 17670, superior to the eye to the Malkoff M60, Dereelight CL1H V3, and L4. The handling would be significantly improved with a fatter 18500 body, IMHO.

WOW....thats got to be one sensational KL1,who modded it?

Oh wow my first sticky, thanks guys.

Sorry no beam shots, I sold both of these some time ago (they we both built to order for friends), I wish I had kept one for myself now :'(

Maybe I could borrow one back for a "service" and make some beamshots.
Kudos...Oh yes, beamshots of your creation would be nice.nj
