Up for raffle is a Surefire Titan s/no.330/1000 which I acquired recently from another collector. The light comes with box, papers & unopened lanyard. I would like to get $700 for it with 35 slots at $20 each cash or credit card PayPal. I'll absorb any PayPal fees. Cash PayPal address is cyrilng_sg@yahoo.com.sg and Credit Card funded PayPal address is cyrilng@pacific.net.sg. You can title the payment as 'Titan part'. NB. Please do not put the word 'Raffle' in the PayPal transaction. You may buy more than one slot at $20 each. Numbers will be assigned according to the order PayPal is received and I will update them as soon as I am able to. It will remain open till all slots are taken or 14 days whichever is the sooner. If all slots are not taken by then, all payments will be refunded cheerfully. The winner will be determined by a random number from 1 to 35 chosen by random.org. This may be just the ticket for your Tritium sphere.......rather than have it lying around in a Tupper Ware Bowl. I think it would be cool.

A prototype of a bedstand light, the Luce de Notte, using a Tritium sphere as the light source. The clear hemisphere at the tail end lets light escape when turned upside down on the bedstand. Great for locating your bed in complete darkness!

Lights Buy/Sell/Trade / How to post a non-hosted picture.
« on: October 04, 2007, 12:49:28 AM »
For our members who do not have a hosting service or don't wish to use a hosting service to post images. You can post an image as an attachment to your post in 3 or 4 easy steps.

1. After composing your post click on the Additional Options... as shown in the first picture with the big arrow. ( click on thumbnail to enlarge image)

2. Click on Browse... You will see a pop up box where you can navagate to the file stored on YOUR computer and click OPEN. The URL for your file should now be in the attach window next to the browse button as shown in the second picture.

3. If you have more than one picture click on More Attachments as shown in the third image, and click on the second Browse button.

When you are done, click Post.

Remember the 128 KB size limit........I find if you keep the width to about 600 pixles you should be ok.

General Flashlight Discussion / Anyone get the new E1L or E2L yet
« on: July 21, 2007, 08:49:07 AM »
I was in a B&M store looking at them and was very surprised when I looked at the business end.... the TIR looked very different than the older optics of the KL1 head. The new head even had KX1 on the bezel.

I would really like to get some feed back on these.....the store was too bright to get a feel of how the beams look, but it seems that the beam is not as square as the older lights.
