Lights Buy/Sell/Trade / Pepperball - Withdrawn!!
« on: January 05, 2009, 04:12:13 AM »
Details on
This thing has an O.K. 3W light but spits out Pepperballs at 300ft/sec in semi-automatic fashion that is just mind blowing!
Has a red-aiming laser too. Includes all parts of the kit and 5 inert practice balls and one CO2 canister, but no live pepperballs. Ya need to buy them online.
Asking $400 plus shipping. Under 18 need not apply.
The PepperBall FlashLauncher system combines a flashlight and a PepperBall launcher in one product. Its bright 80 lumen flashlight well illuminates your immediate surrounding such as the inside of vehicles, rooms to be searched, corrections cells, etc. and person sized objects at target accurate range. Law enforcement or corrections officers can quickly assess situations and, if needed, immediately launch up to 5 PepperBall projectiles in semi-automatic fashion. This makes FlashLauncher a first choice less-lethal option in many scenarios including room entries, room or cell searches, cell checks and extractions, traffic stops, DUI check points, or defensive tactics.

FlashLauncher can be recharged and mounted at your agency or in your vehicle. Officers can quickly bring a fully charged unit with them for use, and holster for carry. Built in laser to more quickly and accurately acquire targets. Sold as a system or with separte accessories including AC recharger, DC recharger, holster, and CO2.

Probably the most flexible light we have ever developed, with incredible possibilities.

With 830 lumens, Wilma is already brighter than standard competitors H.I.D. systems at 500 lumens and already as bright as our well-known high-end H.I.D. light Edison. But there are many advantages to this LED system over standard H.I.D. systems.

LEDís are more durable, upgradeable as technology improves and dim-able to specific needs, have longer life and are able to flash, which is impossible with H.I.D. bike lights.

On high beam the Wilma emits an amazingly bright light which easily illuminates demanding technical trails, At Lupine, We tried to increase the light output in every possible way, by using the best LEDís available, our own lens system, coated antireflection glass which gives an extra percentage in performance and a massive amount of advanced electronics to maximize the efficiency at all dimming levels.

However, the most astonishing fact is the output on the lower beam settings. H.I.D. lights are only dimmable to a certain extend before they cut out. Halogen lights can be dimmed very easily but the light output and color is generally poor.

I'd also consider a trade for a Garmin Nuvi 760 or better.

Lummi / Inquiry About Wee
« on: May 23, 2008, 09:33:39 PM »
I just had a realization. The battery that the Wee uses, is the same as one I've had sitting in a 'project box' for a year.
Is the Wee the only light on the market that uses that battery?

Other Gear / Yo-Yo's Anyone?

You know about Custom 'Boutique' Flashlights, and Knives and Guns but what about Yo Yo's ?
I just scored a Spyy Radian Superlight that has me dusting off my old yo yo tricks books!
'Course you know I love bare naked Aluminum no matter what it ends up being...
But the Yo Yo community is like where flashlights were about 3 years ago.
Tell me about your yo yo's :D
