Title: replacement button covers?
Post by: weylan on December 11, 2013, 09:37:48 PM
I am looking for some replacement button covers.
Any one know of a source?  I have 1 that is cracked and holding on by a thread.  But I have 2 more I am worried about that the wife and child uses and want to have a spare in case it goes.

Id love to find one also.
I think if mine were to wear out I would take an extra rubber tail cap and cut it to right size. 8)

The original black switch caps were fairly heavy material and were shaped kind of cup like.  They also had a small ridge near the edge that I'm told made them water proof or at least pretty water resistant.  The colored switch caps that used to be offered are just cut from flat material that was thinner and more tactile feeling.  You can make your own out of some rubber material, or as was suggested, a thin rubber boot switch cap.

Anyone still in need of these?  I posted some in the Buy/ Sale / Trade section.
